Web GIS for Municipalities


Our Web GIS solution for municipalities provides GIS maps and property information to anyone with an internet connection. Residents and employees of your town, city, or county can now access GIS maps from almost anywhere – the home, office, or in the field with a laptop or PDA  Please contact us for more information.

Web Site Features
- Accessible by almost any computer with an internet connect

- Data Currency date on each page indicating the last data update

Map Tools
- Checkboxes turn individual layers On or Off
- Zoom In/Out Tools offer point and click or box zooming

- Measure Tool displays distances and calculates areas
- Quick Zoom Ramp offers fast zooming to predefined map scales
- Custom Map Scale can be set by entering desired scale in Feet

Start Page
Each town receives a start page that includes property searches by Address, Owner Name, and Parcel ID, and a button to launch the interactive GIS map browser. The start page also provides a Disclaimer as well as helpful links to the town website, data notes, a feedback area, and a user guide.
Map Interface
Our Web GIS application is simple enough for anyone to use. Town GIS maps are within easy reach of anyone with a web browser and internet access. Visitors can turn layers on or off, print or export maps, and measure distances or areas with just a few clicks.
Property Information
Users also gain access to detailed property information, displayed in a familiar “assessor’s card” format. From each property card, users can create Abutters Notification Lists, or view the selected property in new interactive GIS map window.
Printing & Exporting
Printing your own maps is easy. Users can choose from a number of page layouts and even add their own map titles.

Our export tool offers users the ability to save the map image to a number of popular image formats and custom image sizes.
Abutters Lists

The public can now generate their own list of abutting properties and display owner address information with just a few clicks. A custom search distance can be entered, creating a buffer zone around the active property.
